Donny Weaver is “The Master” of costuming! Much like master Chef, Emeril who can make a gourmet meal from a slice of baloney, a raisin and two saltine crackers, Donny is the same when it comes to makeup and costuming. As the head of wardrobe for Sammy’s Showroom at Harrah’s Reno, Donny has worked with just about every legendary performer that has graced the stage at Sammy’s and made them shine bright on that stage with his costumes. When I asked him about the Jesus costume for this film, Donny was kind enough to absolutely blow our minds with his “Last Supper” look for Alphonse Polito and humble enough to say that, “it was no big deal.” Well, thanks to Donny, this film went over the top with his amazing talent in the costume and makeup department! |
